Mr. C’s Deli

Mr. C’s Deli is a specialty liquor store and deli which has been serving the Grosse Pointes for over 40 years.

Scope of Work

Develop and implement an integrated digital strategy with the goal of increasing exposure and driving foot traffic to Mr. C’s Deli.

Our role encompassed:

  • Strategic planning meetings with the owner to discuss Mr. C’s business model, operations, and growth objectives
  • Posting engaging content on Facebook & Instagram relating to: new and existing products – including food and beverages, employee features, customer features, and Grosse Pointe community news
  • Engaging with the Mr. C’s Deli online community to build trust, facilitate engagement, encourage user-generated photos
  • Introducing the ‘Mr. C’s hot sticks giveaway’ which turned into a viral sensation in Grosse Pointe and grew their following exponentially with ZERO media spend
  • Responding to questions, comments, and concerns posted on Mr. C’s Deli social media platforms and review sites
  • Presenting the owner with feedback from online reviews in an effort to facilitate an improved shopping experience
  • Generating monthly activity and feedback reports to share with internal teams for continued improvement

Timeline: February 2020 – May 2020

Results:

  • 100% month-over-month increase in likes/follows and engaged Instagram users
  • 25% month-over-month increase in likes/follows and engaged Facebook users
  • Increased foot traffic, sales, and event/tasting attendance

Trained internal team to take over social media.
